Dr. Paul R. Kamen, D.D.S., F.A.C.D.

Paul R. Kamen, D.D.S., F.A.C.D. received his dental degree from Columbia University in 1975. After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Kamen spent a year in General Practice Residency at the Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center. Next, Dr. Kamen spent three years in Post-Doctoral training in Periodontology and Oral Medicine at the Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine (1976 – 1979). Dr. Kamen received his Board Certification in Periodontology in 2003 from the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Kamen became an Associate Professor of Dentistry at the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1979 and was then promoted to the position of Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry (1987 – Present).

Dr. Kamen has had hospital appointments at Helen Hayes Hospital (1987 – 1995), Beth Israel Hospital, NY (1995 – 1997) and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital (1980 – present).

Dr. Kamen has delivered many lectures and has been published numerous times in peer reviewed journals. He is presently a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, North East Society of Periodontology and the Special Care Dental Association.
