Dr. Joanne Conaway, N.D., B.S.N., R.N.

Joanne ConawayDr. Joanne Conaway (ND, BSN, RN) received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1976. She is currently a retired Air Force Nurse with experience in Trauma Nursing, Operating Room and Critical Care as well as over 6 years of specialized Nutritional Support Nursing and Education. Joanne spent 20 years in the Air Force and Air Force Reserves, primarily as an Aeromedical Evacuation Nurse in both Training and Standardization and Evaluation, while serving as in-flight Medical Crew Director. During that time she deployed in support of Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Conaway received her doctorate in Traditional Naturopathy from the New Eden School of Natural Health & Herbal Studies in 2015.

Joanne is an internationally acclaimed speaker and author of You Are What You Digest and Inches of Deception. Joanne has taught and coordinated nutrition education courses for professional organizations and corporations worldwide and her primary focus is the function of the Gastrointestinal System and its role in overall health and immunity.

Joanne is also the co-founder and Director of Nutritional Support Alliance, Inc., a non-profit company dedicated to providing nutritional support to eligible, at-risk people who cannot otherwise afford it.
