Autism Specialist Juli Liske, RDH

Juli Liske RDHJuli Liske, RDH is an experienced dental hygienist who has treated patients on the Autism Spectrum for over 25 years. She draws from her experience as a hygienist, mother, author, and special needs advocate to offer insight on treating both children and adult patients with autism.

Being autistic herself and having two adult children on the spectrum, she is passionate about improving healthcare for individuals with autism and other disabilities. Liske has taught autism-related continuing education to dental professionals for many years.

In 2006, Liske released her first book, In the Eye of the Hurricane: Finding Peace in the Storm of Autism, which offers a helpful guide for dental professionals and anyone seeking education on the topic.

In 2008, she founded The Brown Center for Autism in Nashville, which provided comprehensive early intervention for kids with autism, intensive training and support for parents, and community education for the public at large for nearly. Liske served as the center’s executive director for almost a decade. She has also served on the Tennessee Governors Council for Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as the national SPARK for Autism Advisory Council.

Liske currently resides in Tennessee with her husband, Jim. They have two adult sons, both of whom are on the autism spectrum, and one daughter.
