Dentists and Dental Therapists

Indiana dentists, academic dentists, and dental therapists must complete 20 hours of continuing education during each 24-month renewal cycle.

Provider recognition: For Dentists, Academic Dentists, and Dental Therapists, the Board automatically accepts CE courses recognized by the American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) (or a successor organization).

Indiana dental hygienists must complete 19 continuing education hours every 24 months.
