After completing this course, the clinician will be able to:
- How to identify research studies that are biased
- How biased researched studies are systematically performed and published
- The major causes of death and disease in the western world
- The dental and systemic risks associated with consuming animal flesh, dairy, eggs and processed food-like substances
- The bidirectional relationship between many systemic disease and periodontitis
- The risks associated with insufficient serum vitamin D level and its prevalence
- The common misconceptions about what constitutes healthy nutrition
- The molecular mechanism of non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus
