Sexual harassment in the workplace is against the law. Harassment can also create severe disruptions and morale problems for the entire practice. The best way to eliminate it is through prevention and education. This course provides an overview of sexual harassment, including what it is, who it might involve, and what to do if you are the victim of harassment. The course will also provide an example of a sexual harassment prevention policy and an outline for sexual harassment prevention training for the dental office.
After completing this course, the clinician will be able to:
- Define what sexual harassment is
- The two types of sexual harassments under federal law
- The types of behaviors that can be considered sexual harassment
- Who can be the victim or perpetrator of sexual harassment
- What to do if you are a victim of sexual harassment
- Creating a sexual harassment prevention policy
- Creating a sexual harassment training program for the office
About Live, Interactive Webcast Continuing Education Seminars:
