Bone Rejuvenation and Implants Review

In this course we will go over how bone can be rejuvenated anywhere in the mouth. We will also go into the types of implants and where they are best suited. We will go through the process of placing implants in areas that lack bone such as the thin bony ridges and the palatal sinus. Finally, we will close with the implant removal techniques when an implant has become periimplantitis or when it has fractured in the tissues.
After completing this course, the clinician will be able to:
- Learn about the different kinds of implants and when you can use them.
- Determine if the blade implant is still effective.
- Learn how to grow bone in 2 – 3 months using the patient’s own blood.
- Learn where and when to use the Mini-Implant.
- Learn how to place a zygomatic implant.
- Learn how to grow bone back into your implant pockets.
- Learn how to grow bone anywhere in the mouth.
- Learn how to extract an implant.
