Dr. Steve Adair

Dr. Steve Adair is professor emeritus and was the former chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Regents University) in Augusta, Ga. Dr. Adair earned his DDS from the University of North Carolina in 1973. He received his certificate in pediatric dentistry and an MS degree from the University of Iowa in 1976. From 1976 to 1990, Adair taught pediatric dentistry at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, where he chaired the department and directed the pediatric dentistry residency program from 1983-1990. He moved to MCG in 1990 to chair the pediatric dentistry department. Adair also served as residency program director from 1996-2003. From 2008-14, he served as Chief Dental Officer and as SVP, Clinical Quality Initiatives and Education for a dental practice management company. Today, he is president of Palmetto Dental Consulting, LLC.
